TFC struck first in the opening inning when Ryan McCarron brought in a run with a sacrifice fly. The Eagles continued to apply pressure early, adding another run in the third after Bricen Blankenship lined a single down the right field line.
The highlight of the day came in the fifth inning when Aiden Dumas launched a go-ahead home run to left field, giving the Eagles a 6-5 lead and shifting momentum in their favor.
