Bio

Coach JT Jones brings a wealth of experience as both a coach and a former player, demonstrating a deep passion for developing athletes and building successful programs. 
 
From 2019 to 2024, he served as the Head Middle and High School Girls’ Basketball Coach at Christian Community School, taking both struggling programs and transforming them into competitive, winning teams. Under his leadership, both middle school and high school teams achieved four winning seasons in five years. Notably, he led the middle school team to its first-ever state championship appearance and guided the high school team to its first-ever district championship appearance, along with two State Tournament Semi-Final appearances. 
 
During his time as the General Manager of Girls Basketball at Pro Skills Nashville (2020-2022) and Head Girls Coach at Stars Basketball Club Nashville (2022-2024), Coach Jones played a pivotal role in player development, mentoring athletes, and fostering competitive team environments. 
 
Prior to his coaching career, he was an Assistant Girls’ Basketball Coach at White House High School (2018-2019). As a player, he competed at the semi-pro and pro levels in 2018. 
A standout collegiate athlete, Jones played at Welch College from 2014 to 2018, where he served as a three-year team captain. His impressive career includes accolades such as All-American, All Mid-East Region Team, Team MVP, and Welch College Player of the Year. He also scored an impressive 1,700 career points.
 
Now at Toccoa Falls College, Coach Jones is focused on continuing to build a competitive women’s basketball program, developing athletes with a strong work ethic, discipline, and leadership both on and off the court.
